Introduction to Matlab with examples done in class. Matlab has a 'diary' function which records everything I will do in class on Matlab, and this record will be posted online after class so you can revert back to it at any time.

What to turn in for Lab 2:
- Exercises: 2.1(a), 2.1(c), 2.3(a), 2.3(c), 2.4(a). Please but a box around your final answer.
- A Matlab diary* with: Exercises: 2.1(b), 2.2, 2.3(b)*, 2.4(b)*, 2.4(c).
- Please print the Matlab diary and attach it to your written lab work.
*remember:
- For both 2.3(b) and 2.4(b) use 'diff(int(function))' instead of 'parfrac112'.
- to enact the diary, type: diary yourlastname_diary.txt
- to end the diary, type: diary off

- Exercises 3.1 to 3.3 as stated
- Written Exercises: Section 3.4: 4, 10, 14 on Page 333 of the text. Please highlight or put a box around your final answer.
- A Matlab diary* with: Section 3.5: 26, 28, 30, 31 on Page 333 of the text. Please highlight or put a box around your final answer.
- Please print the Matlab diary and attach it to your written lab work
- This is not due until October 1st
*remember:
- to enact the diary, type: diary yourlastname_diary.txt (or whatever else you want to name the diary...it really doesn't matter).
- to end the diary, type: diary off
- or, you can just cut and paste your work into any word processor, then print it...whatever is easier for you.
