If you arrive at Shanghai Pudong airport (PVG), there will be no connecting flights to Hangzhou airport since it is only around 150 km (100 miles) between the two airports. So instead, you will take some forms of ground transpotation to get to Hangzhou or Jinhua. Here is Shanghai airport website:

Chinese currency is Ren-Min-Bi (RMB), exchange rate is about 1 US dollar =8 RMB.

There are several ways from Shanghai airport to Jinhua (conference site):

A. (easy way)
  1. Take Airport Bus #7 to Shanghai South Train Station, a new transportation center in south Shanghai (the bus service is available from 7:50am to 11:00pm, the ticket is 20 RMB, look for Airport Bus Station) You can also use a taxi service for the same route, which will be around 150-200 RMB.
  2. In Shanghai South Railway Station, buy a train ticket to Jinhua. Try to get a soft sleeper ticket.
  3. From Jinhua Railway station, take a taxi to Wangjiang Hotel.
B. (more adventured way, but certainly more fun)
  1. Take Maglev from Pudong Airport to Long Yang Road
  2. Take Metro #2 (at the same building) to the People's Square.
  3. Transit to Metro #1 at People's Square.
  4. Arrive at the Shanghai South Railway Station
