Computing:

The mathematics department has a network of Linux workstations in Jones Hall. The workstations and software are maintained by the Computer Science Department. 

In addition, faculty members and graduate students have access to an on campus Sun Microsystems Super Computer, a Computation Science Cluster facilities.

Current software includes:

 ARENA (discrete-event simulation)

 CPLEX (optimization)

 TeX/LaTeX (text processing)

 Maple (computer algebra system)

 SLAM (discrete-event simulation)

 SPLUS (statistical package)
