International Workshop on Banach spaces, operator theories and applications to nonlinear analysis is scheduled to be held in Y.Y. Tseng’s Functional Analysis Research Center of Harbin Normal University, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, People's Republic of China during July 25--27, 2007.

The main subjects of the workshop will be Banach spaces, opeartor theory and applications to nonlinear analysis.

If you plan to participate in the Second International Conference on Recent Advances in Applied Dynamical Systems, we kindly ask you to send us an e-mail to Prof.Yuwen Wang wangyuwen1950@yahoo.com.cn or Prof. Junping Shi jxshix@wm.edu and containing your name, position, postal address, e-mail address, title and abstract (typed in LaTeX or Word document, not to exceed one A4 page) of your talk, travel schedule and additional information and comments if you may have. 

Registration fees: RMB 500 (for Chinese) or 100 U.S Dollars. There is no registration fee for invited speakers. The local expenses of the invited speakers including hotel and meals during the conference period will be covered by the financial sponsors. The conference fee should be paid upon arrival during the registration.

Deadlines:
The deadline for registration is June 30, 2007.
Titles and abstracts of all the invited talks must also be received by July 15, 2007. Abstracts should be typed in LaTeX or Word document, containing your name, institute affiliation, postal address, e-mail address, title and abstract, not to exceed one page and sent by email to Prof. Junping Shi jxshix@wm.edu

Local Information:

The site of conference Harbin is the capital of Heilongjiang province, the northern most province of China.With only a history of about 120 years in existence, Harbin now has a population of 9.5 million (4.6 million in urban area). Harbin is a thriving industrial city. It is also the political, economic, scientific, cultural and communications centre of Northeast China. Harbin is known as one of the major cities in China and Northeast Asia. Harbin bears the nickname 'The Pearl on the swan's neck' because the shape of Heilongjiang resembles a swan, or as 'Oriental Moscow' or 'Oriental Paris' for the architecture in the city. Harbin is also known as 'Ice City' for its long and cold winter.

Tourist Information:
  1. Conference will organize a half-day tour of the city of Harbin in the afternoon of July 26. Possible destinations include Taiyang Island (太阳岛), Saint Sofia Church (圣索菲亚教堂), and Central Street (中央大街).
  2. Conference will organize excursion trips for invited speakers in July 28-30. Two routes are available: (a) Jingpo Lake (镜泊湖), 350km east of Harbin. Jingpo Lake is well known for its peace and quietness, and the volcanic geography that is great for trekking in and over. The Chinese of Jingpo are fond of quoting the phrase that this lake is the "West Lake of the north", a reference to the famous Hangzhou scenic spot. (b) Dolbert Grassland (杜尔伯特草原), 200km west of Harbin. People can experience Mongolian culture in this area.

Transportation:
Harbin Taiping Airport (HRB) serves Harbin metropolitan area. Airlines which serve HRB include Air China, Asiana, Cathay Pacific, China Eastern, China Southern, Dalavia, Hainan Air, Shanghai Air, Shenzhen Air, Vladivostok Air, Xiamen Air, Yakutia. Major connecting airports are Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Seoul, and various Russian cities. Every day there are more than ten flights from Beijing or Shanghai to Harbin. There are also train service from almost all the cities in China to Harbin.

The conference will be held in the building of College of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Harbin Normal University. The conference hotel is Ba Huang Tong Shen Hotel (八荒通神大酒店, 哈尔滨松北区利民开发区学院路美术家大街1号), which is about 2 km from the the conference venue.
